Juneteenth Performing Arts Program – Youth Enrollment & Cultural Celebration

The Juneteenth Performing Arts Program is an exciting, interactive experience for children ages 5 and up, created to educate, inspire, and empower youth through the vibrant history of Juneteenth and the transformative power of the performing arts. Presented in collaboration with Juneteenth Nevada and Witness Performing Arts, this unique program blends cultural education with hands-on training in acting, singing, and dance, while exploring the technical and spiritual aspects of performance.
The first meeting and registration event will take place on:
Saturday, April 19th, 2025  2 to 4pm
Saturday, May 10th, 2025 12noon to 2pm
Saturday, May 24th, 2025 12 noon to 2pm

Families are invited to attend and enroll their children in this culturally rich and creatively empowering journey. Join us as we nurture the next generation of artists and storytellers while celebrating the legacy of Juneteenth.

(Program director is acclaimed performer, educator, and community leader MarQue Munday, Miss Juneteenth Nevada Director and World Titleholder Classic Universe Woman 2023/24. A former Radio City Rockette, author, international performer, and founder of Witness Performing Arts, MarQue brings decades of experience to guide and mentor youth with both discipline and heart.)
