Miss Juneteenth Nevada 2025/26: Celebrating Leadership, Legacy, and the Power of Purpose with Mia FennellLas Vegas, NV -- The Miss Juneteenth Nevada Program proudly announces Mia Fennell as the reigning Miss Juneteenth Nevada 2025/26. At just 16 years old, Mia represents a new generation of leaders who embody excellence, cultural pride, and a deep commitment to community empowerment.
“I’m truly honored to serve as Miss Juneteenth Nevada,” Mia shares. “This program has given me so many meaningful opportunities—attending cultural celebrations, connecting with inspiring community leaders, and learning about the powerful history and resilience that shape our traditions. Through this journey, I’ve discovered the deeper meaning of Juneteenth—beyond what’s taught in school—and how our stories continue to influence and uplift the communities we serve. These experiences have helped me grow, understand my purpose, and embrace what it means to lead with pride, grace, and intention.”
In addition to her role as Miss Juneteenth Nevada, Mia is an outstanding student leader. She currently serves as the Vice President of Education for her school’s Hispanic Organization Promoting Education (HoPe Club)—a role that allows her to support her peers while creating an inclusive environment that celebrates both academic achievement and cultural identity.
Mia’s passion for service extends far beyond the stage. She is committed to uplifting younger generations, honoring Juneteenth, and using her voice to inspire confidence, unity, and strength. Looking ahead, she aspires to become a pediatric nurse, where she can continue to care for children and give back to her community with compassion, purpose, and heart.
As Miss Juneteenth Nevada, Mia will continue to represent the program at community events, educational programs, and cultural celebrations across Nevada, spreading awareness about Juneteenth’s legacy of freedom, empowerment, and progress.
